The Brief:
Inspire film-loving families to get creative for the BAFTAS

The Idea:
Mini Movie Makers

The execution:
A multichannel PR campaign that gives film-loving families all the tools they need to create fun, imaginative films at home, culminating in a competition giving the winners the chance to walk the BAFTA red carpet.

Tech: 
We worked with a tech partner to create a suite of five different Instagram filters that reflect the inspiring worlds of different film genres, from a mythical fairytale world, to a superhero's lair, to an outer space sci-fi scene. People could use these filters in their home to create an instant film set and spark a new idea for a film right in the comfort of their own home.

Social Content:
We worked with two friends of BAFTA to create two social-first films where they shared their expertise and advice for budding movie makers to make the best films at home. From showcasing how to use the filters, to giving tips on at home staging, props and storytelling, these engaging clips gave a spark of creativity to families a home.

Digital:

I wrote the copy for the campaign microsite that brought the tech and social content together, along with other tips and tools to help families make great movies at home. From writing example scripts and storylines, to advising on props people could make from household items, to ideating and advising on printable templates for families to level-up their at-home films.
